Once you complete your volunteer shift, you will receive store credit ($5/hr) for used parts.
When:
Fridays, 1pm – 4pmMaximum two volunteers per shift
Course Policies
- Participants must reserve their spot in advance. This can be done through our website, over the phone, or in-person at the shop.
- Hand sanitizer and hand washing stations are provided for use
- Everyone is assigned to a unique work-station/bike stand
If you need to cancel your volunteer spot, please do so as soon as possible through Eventbrite, or send us an email at recyclistasbike@gmail.com.
Recyclistas is located off the Galloping Goose near Uptown. It is easiest to access by bike – and we have lots of bike parking! Detailed instructions on finding the shop can be found HERE
There is a limited amount of parking in front of Recyclistas, but sometimes it can be difficult to find space, especially from Monday-Friday during the day.
Our store-front is accessible via a ramp that is 67” wide and a door that swings outwards. The class is held in the basement, which is down a narrow set of stairs (20” high and 11” wide) with a hand rail that is 36” high. The roof is low as you enter the basement – watch your head on the last two steps!
There is one, small, private gender-inclusive bathroom for class participants. It is not available for the general public to use.
